Currently Reading: Ase to Sekken by Yamada Kintetsu

There is so much manga out in the world and yet I always gravitate towards the unlicensed. I’m not exactly sure why, but for this title, I knew I wanted something a bit more adult. I think I was a bit tired of the whole fantasy worlds and teen characters and while searching for something new to read, I found Ase to Sekken (Sweat and Soap). And oh boy, this series is Hilarious! [Review] Ezuke wa Yahan, Ano Heya de by Homerun Ken

Oh my, it’s been a while since I last reviewed a BL manga! I think my last one was That Blue Sky Feeling back in September! Well, to be honest, I also haven’t been reading many BL manga recently. I’ve mostly been keeping to webcomics and their updates. But I was feeling a bit bored and figured it was time to pick something new up! Continue reading

Currently Catching Up: Haikyuu 25+ [fujoshi rambles on the tsukki/hina]

Hey guys! So along with the anime I started watching again, I figured I’d stop procrastinating on my manga reading and first up was Haikyuu. Though if I’m being honest, that’s only half the reason I started reading Haikyuu again. The REAL reason is that I was doing some research on Tsukishima and Kageyama’s interactions for uhm, non-fujoshi purposes ah heck who am I kidding, it’s for the yaoi, it’s always for the yaoi

[Edelweiss] That Blue Sky Feeling by Okura

Hey guys! Can you believe I haven’t read a BL title since around the beginning of the year I IMAGINE. I know, it’s like a crime! But for some reason, nothing has really caught my attention outside of a few webcomics I’ve been “keeping track of” (aka I bookmarked them months ago and haven’t returned to them). So to remedy this, I actually went to this website called Edelweiss, which works similarly to Netgalley but has a hint of Goodreads

Basically, I can go and request some books to read and then I review them for the publishers. I actually found That Blue Sky Feeling on there and wow, I really enjoyed it! Continue reading

Reading Devils and Realist v 1 – 10

Ok guys, so before I start this, I just want to show you all the covers of this series. Aren’t they SO NICE, like if you saw them at a bookstore, wouldn’t it make you curious about the content? Well, that is exactly what happened to me and this series. I think I picked this up around the time there were maybe 4 or 5 volumes, or maybe I only owned that many at the time…Either way, I jumped in to watch the anime and then sort of dropped it for awhile

But now I’m back, burning with unanswered questions that the anime left me with! Unfortunately, I only have so many volumes within hands reach and you bet I was left at a cliffhanger

So this series follows William Twining, a genius (practically) attending a prestigious school, who plans on being either a lawyer or politician and then swimming in loads of money. Continue reading
