[Review] Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

Hey guys! So it’s been awhile since I last wrote up a game review but hopefully, this isn’t too cringeworthy. You see, about two years ago I was getting really hyped about VNs and I very obviously hinted to my family that I wanted a PS Vita and a VN for my birthday. I ended up getting just that and the game I received was Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

I played the game for like an hour, maybe even less, and bam! I lost interest like that. I just couldn’t really get into it. Fast forward to 2018, when I read Irina’s post on the game and I thought I should get to playing something again. And since I’m a little tight on cash, I figured I’d play what I already own

Also, if anyone is interested, I did write up a first impression on the first two chapters of the game (way) before writing this review post. If you read that then you know I still wasn’t 100% convinced on the game but then I finished it and bought Goodbye Despair. So what happened? Continue reading

Oh Hey, I Own A Vita: Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc (Ch 1&2 Impressions)

Hey guys! So I know it’s been awhile since I last talked about games on the blog and mostly it’s because I just haven’t had the time to play much (and when I do I’ll just do some random thing like check to make sure my kids are still alive and not being hunted by giants), but recently (yesterday) I finally picked up my PS Vita that I got for my birthday like a year ago, dusted it off, and decided to play the only game I own: Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc

Also, it’s not just because I suddenly remembered and wanted to play it that I did. I actually felt like playing it because Irina posted Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc indeed or Irina fails hard at VN reviews and I got curious. I also know it’s a pretty popular game, hence why it was gifted to me, and wow, I also went to gamestop and there’s like tons more Danganronpa games! Continue reading

I Want a Gaming Computer, don’t you?

So it’s been awhile since I last posted anything gaming related but I recently went out to watch the League of Legends NA Finals in Boston, and like the year before, those matches got me pumped to actually play the game. Last year I ended up downloading the game but it took SO LONG to download (and later to update) that I gave up on the endeavor. And now it got me thinking about that gaming computer that’s been on my to-buy list for possibly a year now Continue reading

Emily Is Away

Hey guys!

So recently Cat started building up her Youtube channel where she’s doing Let’s Play videos (she plays a game and then puts a short review at the end). I started watching and the videos are short enough where I can watch them before going to bed and I actually went ahead and got one of the games she played! (“got” since it was free but you know what I mean haha)

But before reading my stuff, here’s her gameplay (/whispers/ watch it, it’s fun!)

[Progress] I finally bought the house!

I have no idea how I did it but I finally bought the manor in Solitude and added all the furnishings in one go! Unfortunately, it only has the options of my room, my kid’s room, living room, dining area, kitchen, patio, enchantment area, alchemy area, and I think that’s it…

I really wanted the one where you can do the ore stuff (smelter I believe) but I think I need to build the house from scratch if I want that option. I remember I did that when I played on the 360 but the location was just so inconvenient (lol) Continue reading

[Progress] Skyrim is taking over my life again…

If you follow me on my Twitter, chances are you’ve heard me mention Skyrim quite a bit lately! Well, it’s because I’ve been playing a little (or a lot) each day since the remastered (?) edition came out~

Guys, meet my character Senkka, a Dark Elf. For some reason I’ve always played Elder Scrolls as a woman while other games I use a guy. I also always choose the Dark Elf (because they’re COOL). In oblivion I called my character Penelope and the two times I played Skyrim on my 360 I also called her Penelope.

Figured I’d change things up since I was playing on a PC now ^^ Also, that’s my house behind me (Breezehome in Whiterun because I’m saving up for the Manor in Solitude)

Right now I’m mainly focusing on doing Companion and side quests because I like to leave the main quest for last. I also decided on the Companions first because I don’t need any special skills like I would if I did another guild (like the Thieves Guild, I’d need sneak to do things properly/get full pay). I think I’ll be doing the Dark Brotherhood quests once I’m done with these Continue reading

yes I’m playing Pokemon GO too

When Pokémon blew up and was released in the US, I told myself I wasn’t going to play it for some weird reason. I stayed put for a few days (maybe a week or two), as I saw my Twitter and Tumblr feed blow up with screenshots and fanart about the game, all before I caved and downloaded the game. Now it’s become part of my daily routine…

After work I spend about an hour going Pokémon hunting and I pretty much have a route set. I go through two little streets before stopping at the Pokéstop at my local library. There’s another at the church right across the street from my brother’s high school, two more at these churches I would never have found had I not gotten lost, three at a local park, three more near City Hall, and one at the historical society right by my house.  Continue reading
